A Better Way to Bury Cable & Pipe

This plow is unlike any other plow you've seen. Its anchor & winch system give the Spider extrodinary ablility.The 70 ton winch will bury any product up to 8" o.d. as much as 6 1/2' deep. The anchor provides an immovable object to pull against. It is cleaner and faster than trenching, works on snow & ice, and can place multiple products at discrete levels in a single pass. 

Hydraulics control the sword, shoe, chute, legs, body, steering, and numerous minor fuctions to give the Spider Plow unmatched control of depth and direction while the procduct is being placed in the ground. The Man truck with its 70 ton winch provides the power to pull the Spider Plow.
Four independently adjustable legs give the spider exceptional rough terrain capablility. The anchor provides full pulling power to the plow in all conditions. With the winch cable doubled, the plow is pulled with a deadweight force of 140 tons. The plow & chute are designed to keep the product at the required depth and to eliminate damage during placement.
